The Week Ahead

It's a busy week for those at Palmerston.  As well as our usual clubs and Community events, there's games scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday this week.

Events get underway with Walking football for the over 55s at the Arena on Monday morning from 10am.  In the evening, the Under 20s are due to play Stranraer in the development league.  The game at King George V playing fields in Renfrew kicks off at half past seven.

The first breakfast club of the week takes place on Tuesday morning at Lochside.  Also on Tuesday the Community team are out and about with our Whytry initiative.

And in the evening, it's the first of two games for the first team as they try again to play their rescheduled game away at Dundee United at Tannadice.  It's a big game in terms of trying to achieve a place in the top four.  Kick off 7.45pm.

While the first team head to Dundee, the youth sides have the first of their training sessions for the week.

Breakfast Club continues on Wednesday morning and our usual Wednesday coaching camps take place in the Arena for pre and primary school kids in the afternoon.

On Thursday, the day starts with Breakfast Club and in the afternoon the Community team head to Heathhall with our school programme.  The Youth sides are back in for training in the evening and our Football Fans in Training sessions continue.

And at 8pm, the Under 20s have their second game of the week with Queens Park the visitors to Palmerston in the Development league West.

The final Breakfast club of the week gets things under way on Friday, with the usual girls club in the afternoon.

On Saturday, the Soccer Club for Kids which runs ahead of home games for the senior team will again be open from half past 12.  An opportunity for kids to get some coaching, play games and have some fun with their peers indoors at the Arena before heading over to the stadium to watch the first team in action.  It's great value at £10 (£8 for junior blues) as lunch and entrance to the game are included in the price as well as the two hours of coaching and fun.

The game itself sponsored by Oakbank against Livingston kicks off at 3pm.  Armstrong Waste Management are our Gold Ball sponsors for this game, with the New Bazaar sponsoring the silver ball.

On Sunday, the Under 15s have a free week, but the under 16s are at home to Montrose and the Under 17s are also at home to Airdrie.  The games kick off at 12noon and 2pm respectively.
