Christmas Market Success

With Christmas just around the corner, we held our Christmas Market at the Queen of the South Arena yesterday.  The event which had everything from a funfair, obstacle course, stalls, first team coaching sessions to Santa's Grotto turned out to a very enjoyable day.

Organiser, Dan Armstrong said "We are absolutely delighted the way our Christmas Market event went, it was a roaring success.  It was great to see the Community come together, despite the weather we had 100's through the doors, some familiar faces and some new ones too, which was great to see.  Hopefully those attending for the first time will have been impressed by the facilities we have to offer.  The feedback has been very positive and the kids had a fantastic day with the first team who got really involved in the event.  With the Under 20's also involved it really brought the whole club and public together. A lot of hard work went into making it a success but it paid off and we look forward to holding it again next year.

We have to say a massive thank you to all the stall holders, local businesses, volunteers and those who turned up to support the day as well as Santa himself.  Each and everyone played their part in making it a very successful day".
