Training Top Launched

After a successful launch of our new first team tops, we are this week launching our new training kit.

This year we have gone for something a bit more special and made the top a charity top, meaning a percentage of the sales will be donated to charity as well as honouring the NHS and all our key workers.

As we mark the hard work of the NHS, not only over the past seven months but throughout the past 75 years, our warm up top for the new season is pink with the NHS logo, this is to thank them and all our key workers for seeing us through a very tough time.

Our chosen charity who will benefit from the sale of our tops is Breast Cancer UK so along with the NHS logo the top also features a heart to represent the charity.

The tops are now available for £22 for adult sizes and £17 for kids in the club shop, which is open from 1000 – 1400, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and online - https://store.qosfc.com/nhs-pink-training-top

Thalie Martini, CEO Breast Cancer UK said “We are thrilled to have been chosen as one of the causes supported by Queen of the South Football Club this season. We know that breast cancer is close to the club’s heart and are delighted that they have chosen to raise money to help support our vital breast cancer prevention research”.

“Over a quarter of breast cancer cases are preventable. Through this partnership we will be able to share our tips on how people can reduce their risk, reaching even more people with our breast cancer prevention message so that fewer people will have to suffer the devastating consequences of this disease in the future. We cannot achieve this without the support of important partnerships like this. Thank you to everyone at Queen of the South Football Club for your generous support.”

Speaking on behalf of the club, Chairman, Billy Hewitson said “Most of us at some stage in our lives will know someone who has been affected by breast cancer.  We are no different here at Queen of the South and that’s why we are delighted to be able to help raise money for the charity through the sale of our brand new training top.  These are difficult times for us all and we want to give something back to those who have helped us through them, so as well as helping a worthwhile charity we want to thank the NHS and key workers for their work too”.
