Ben Liddle is Manager Allan Johnston’s latest signing. The 23-year-old central midfielder joins on a season long loan from Bristol Rovers.

Ben was born in Durham and signed a two-year deal with Rovers in the summer of 2020 for an undisclosed fee from Middlesbrough. While playing for Boro’s under 23 side he bagged seven goals in seven games.

On completing the deal AJ said “Ben has played at a decent level in England which has given him good experience. He has a good left foot and is a decent passer of the ball so I think he will be a good addition to our squad and will complement the players we already have at the club”.

Subject to International clearance Ben will be in the squad for the game tomorrow.

He has been allocated squad number 14.
