Following the signing of defender Myles Beerman from Rangers on a development loan until the end of the season and the return of Ross Fergusson from his loan deal at Annan Athletic, we can also confirm that Callum Tapping has left the club to join Brechin City on a permanent deal.
On the departure of the midfielder, manager Gary Naysmith added “ I have had several talks with Callum since the start of the season regarding his frustration at not playing regularly after such a long period of time out of action whilst he was injured with his knee. We both agreed that if something came up that suited both parties then we would try and make something happen and that has led to Callum rejoining Brechin. Callum was a popular lad around the dressing room and a model professional. I am pleased to say that he never missed a days training this season since he returned from his knee injury at the tail end of last season and I would personally like to thank him for all that he has done for Queen of the South and hope that he stays injury free and enjoys his time at Brechin and beyond”.
