We can confirm that two of our younger first team squad members have now gone out on loan to Gretna 2008 up to the January window. Left back Charlie Exley and central midfielder Dean Watson will link up with the Raydale Park side for the next three months.

Manager Gary Naysmith said, "With opportunities limited for them in the first team at the moment following the arrival of David Norman and Adam Frizzell, I feel it will benefit the boys more in the longer term to go out and play regular football between now and January rather than occasionally sitting on the bench or in the stand watching on Saturdays. The boys need to be playing 90 minutes more regularly to continue their development and we will monitor them closely. They will continue to train with us and play for our reserve side on Mondays."

Gretna of course are managed by David Irons and Andy Aitken and include former players Jim Atkinson and Steven Black in their ranks already.
