We are delighted to announce the return of Euan East on a one year contract. The forward turned defender, who will be 22 next month, has made more than 60 appearances across the last two seasons since joining from Albion Rovers. He had a new lease of life operating as a centre back for most of last season and was also a scoring threat at set pieces.
Manager Wullie Gibson said, "I'm really pleased to get Easty back on board. It looked for a while that he might be moving on and I know he had offers from clubs in higher leagues but we've managed to get an agreement over the line. He can play in a number of positions and his versatility is a real asset."
Euan added, "I'm happy to have agreed a new contract. I've enjoyed my time at Queens enormously and was honoured to have filled in as captain on a couple of occasions. We were all gutted at how the season ended. I look forward to helping put that right and get Queens back up to the Championship."
