Recommended travel directions for Partick Thistle

It is recommended that fans of Partick Thistle FC travel to the game as follows:
Via M8 Glasgow to Edinburgh motorway, exit at junction 3 (Livingston)travel south on the A899 dual carriageway following signs for St John’s Hospital (Cousland Interchange) onto Cousland Road (A705 westbound), taking the slip road onto the Howden West Road. You will have picked up signposts for “Football Coaches”. Continue westwards past the hospital to the traffic lights and turn left towards the stadium. Some traffic will be permitted access to the stadium car park (until full) whilst others will be directed left at the Braehead junction to St Margaret’s Academy car park.

There will be no charge for parking within the Stadium or St Margaret’s Academy car parks and this is available on first come first serve basis.

Should these car parks reach capacity, there is a multitude of parking available at Livingston Shopping Centre at a reasonable price.

Both sets of fans should be aware that there is minimal free on street parking available and that “illegal parking” will be dealt with appropriately.
Additionally, there are roadworks (nearing completion) at the entrance road to the stadium. This is likely to have an effect on traffic volume and flow in the vicinity of the ground. As such the police request that travelling fans factor this in when planning their travel to the stadium.

There is a local Byelaw in West Lothian that prevents the drinking of alcohol in public. The parking areas and those around the stadium are covered by this byelaw and will be robustly policed on this matchday.

Please be guided by Police Officers and Stewards, support your team passionately and enjoy your day in West Lothian.
