Match Preview v Alloa Athletic (A) - 11th Jan 25

Jan 10 2025 15:02

Weather permitting we will be in action away at Alloa Athletic tomorrow.

There has been nothing between the two sides this season so far with both previous fixtures ending in draws. We made the trip to the Indodrill on the opening day of the league campaign and came away with a point as the game ended goal-less. When we faced each other in November, Luke Rankin opened the scoring before Josh Walker levelled a short time later in a 1-1 draw.

Both sides go into the game on the back of decent wins last weekend. While Mikey Hewitt’s goal earned us a victory over Cove Rangers at Palmerston. Alloa were 3-1 winners away at league leaders Arbroath.

Andy Graham’s side currently sit 5th in the table on 28 points, a place and three points ahead of us, albeit we have a game in hand.

A spokesman for the hosts has told us as things stand the pitch is currently playable.

However, with temperatures forecast to be below freezing again this evening, we would advise supporters to check before making the journey.
