We are delighted to announce the arrival of Kai Kennedy.  The 22 year old becomes, Peter Murphy’s latest signing as he rebuilds the squad for the new season.

The winger started his career at Rangers, joining them as a youth player in 2009.  Although signed to the Glasgow club, he had loan spells at ICT, Raith, Dunfermline, Hamilton and Falkirk.  Kai ended his 14 year link with the Ibrox side last year when he joined York City. 

He has also been capped at Under 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 levels for Scotland.

The Gaffer said “We are really excited to have signed Kai.  He is a good young player with a lot of first team experience.  He has consistently been a thorn in the side of teams with his ability to quickly move down the wing and deliver the ball into the box. As well as being a provider he also weighs in with goals of his own.  We feel he will be a real asset for us, we are delighted to have him in the squad and we look forward to working with him”.

Kai joins the club on a 1 year deal and we look forward to seeing him at Palmerston this season.
