We can confirm that both Mark Thomson and Harry McLinden have agreed loan deals away from the club until the end of the season.
This follows on from both featuring on the bench for the first team, however additions to the squad mean that we can send the young players out to gain valuable first team experience within the senior game.
Mark who spent the first half of the season playing with Girvan, will return, the young stopper who became full time in the summer was a mainstay in the middle of Girvan’s goal and had been rewarded with several appearances on the first team bench here at Palmerston, however when the chance arose to return to Girvan it was a great opportunity for both parties.
Harry McLinden finds himself going out on loan to Linlithgow Rose, the lowland league outfit are flying high at the top end of the league. Harry who has scored five goals in six for the reserves this season, will gain valuable experience playing at that level. Like Mark, Harry will be able to feature for our reserves as they have a busy month ahead with numerous games in the reserve league.
We wish both players every success and would like to thank both Girvan and Linlithgow for their co-operation.
