A totally dominant performance at Falkirk provided a vital first league win courtesy of a hat trick from Stephen Dobbie who moved past Bobby Black into second place in the clubs all time goal scorer list. An absolutely magnificent achievement.
Josh Todd returned to the side today but in a less familiar central midfield role, with Harkins continuing on the right of the front four.
The visitors dominated from the off and it took just 11 minutes for Sir Stephen to open the scoring. He sold the defender a dummy from a throw in and with acres of space rifled a looping volley high into the net past Fasan in the Falkirk goal.

The second came six minutes before half time. A pass forward looked to be pretty comfortable for the home defence but somehow Dobbie managed to get round and in front of the defender. There was no stopping him from this point as he advanced into the area and unleashed a shot past the keeper at the near post.

Number two celebrated
The second half was full of chances for Queens - who registered 27 shots in total, with 11 on target, to the home sides 3 and 0 - and at times the game was Fasan v Dobbie. The keeper pulled off some fine saves to deny Dobbies his hat-trick.
He wasnt to be denied, of course, and prodded the ball home from close range on 75 minutes to complete yet another hat trick against Falkirk and wrap up the three points.
