Former Kilmarnock and Hearts player Jamie Hamill was at Palmerston this morning to sign a contract for next season. The 29 year old, who can play either right back or midfield, played alongside Gavin Skelton at Kilmarnock has made well over 200 appearances at Premiership level during his career. He also made 10 appearances for Scotland at u21 level.

The Manager was delighted to make his old team mate his newest recruit and said "I know what I'm getting with Jamie. He'll bring a bit of dig and tremendous experience to the squad. We've been talking to him for a little while so I'm delighted to finally get things signed up". Jamie said, "I'm just looking forward to getting started. It's a club with a lot of potential and when the manager got in touch I was always keen to come. It wasn't difficult to get a deal sorted".
