Last Tuesday afternoon Queens beat Carlisle United 3-2 at their training ground at Brunton Park. It was a difficult test but a fine performance from the side who raced into a 2-0 half time lead thanks to goals from Dale Hilson and Steven Rigg. The Cumbrians mounted a second half come back, with Reggie Lambe scoring before Danny Grainger equalised. However another former Carlisle player came back to haunt them when Owen Moxon grabbed the winner.
