The Week Ahead

MONDAY 22nd MAY

Walking Football continues between 10 and 11am at The Queen of the South Arena – the weekly opportunity for the over 50’s to play football. Cost - £3.00.

Between 5 – 6pm it’s Pound to Play the chance for youngsters to have a kick about under the supervision of our Community coaches.

Speedy Byers will be holding his goal-keeping coaching sessions for 10 – 16 year olds, girls and boys at Palmerston.  These are structured sessions run by qualified SFA Coaches.  The first session which costs £2.50 takes place for an hour from 5.15pm with the second session between half past 6 and 8 for £3.50.  Limited places are available for more information contact Speedy on 07825 741 259.

 

TUESDAY – 23rd MAY

The Breakfast Club at Lochside Community Services gets the day underway at 8am.

Then it’s the turn of St Ninians for a school visit for an hour from half past one.

Ten minutes later, the Community team in conjunction with St Josephs, have their Why Try Programme a resilience education curriculum to help increase kids chances of academic success with the use of simple hands-on solutions.

It’s training night for the Queen of the South Ladies for an hour at KGV from six o’clock.

 

WEDNESDAY – 24th MAY

Breakfast Club continues at Lochside before the Community team have a school visit with Amisfield, they’ll be visiting between 11am and 12 noon.

Wednesday clubs for pre and primary school kids. Pre-school club starts at half past three until quarter past four for just £3.50. The club then opens for those at Primary school from four until half past five for just £5.00.

 

THURSDAY – 25th MAY

The Community team have Breakfast Club at 8am and then a school visits involving Georgetown Primary at half past 9 for an hour.

It’s the second training night for the Ladies at KGV from half past six for an hour and a half as they prepare for their game at the weekend.

 

FRIDAY - 26th MAY

The final Breakfast Club of the week takes place at the usual time of 8am, before Dalbeattie Primary have a school visit from 10 – 12.  And in the afternoon the club will be holding the Girls Club from 4pm.

 

SATURDAY – 25th MAY

The girls teams all have games, The Devils are at the Threave Festival while The Rapids head to Mids and The Doonhamers are away to Clark Drive.

 

SUNDAY – 26th MAY

The under 17s have their final game of the season when they travel to Perth to face ROSS COUNTY.

The ladies have a league game away at St Roch’s.

 

Don’t forget the Club shop within the Arena and the Arena café are open throughout the week.
