Defender Agrees To Join

As manager Gary Naysmith rebuilds the squad for next season, Callum Fordyce has agreed a one year deal.

The defender who has spent the past two years at East End Park with Dunfermline, started as a youth player with Hibernian before moving to Livingston where he spent much of his professional career.  He has also had a spell with Clyde.

On completing the deal, the manager  said "I'm delighted to have Callum on board, once we  knew he was available we acted quickly to get him tied up.  He was as keen to join us as we were to have him so it didn't take long for us to conclude the deal. He is 24 years old, so comes to us at a good age, he's also a good professional.  We have spoken to several people about Callum and everyone of them spoke highly of him, both as a professional and as a person. I'm sure he will fit in well with the players we already have in the dressing room.  He is primarily a central defender but has played all along the back line during his career, that versatility is another reason we have brought him to the club".
