In such a tight league I always knew that it was going to go down to the wire and so it’s proved and we now face one last Cup Final against Partick Thistle on Saturday.

The support you have given the management team and players throughout the season has been faultless and each and every one of us thank you for the continuous backing you have given us during the campaign.

For our last scheduled game, we have home advantage so we want to make it count.  This is the biggest game at Palmerston Park since I arrived at the football club. Every single person has a responsibility to make a contribution. Myself and the staff have to get things right, the players have to perform and you supporters have to give them the best backing possible.

I realise that it’s been a frustrating season for you the fans and I appreciate the fact that you haven’t turned your back on us.

We need you on Saturday more than ever and I know you won’t let us down.
