Defender Darren Brownlie is the first of this year's squad to agree a new contract with Allan Johnston since his return to Palmerston. The centre half who joined from Cowdenbeath in 2015 missed most of last season recovering from a cruciate injury but proved his worth on his return to the squad and was a central figure in the playoff victories, having a part to play in two of our goals as well as helping to shore up the defence.

'Daz' has signed a one year extension despite interest from other Championship clubs. We look forward to seeing him back for pre-season.
