Holt Returns to Queens

Queen of the South are delighted to welcome Kevin Holt back to Palmerston.

A familiar face around the club, 'Holty' came through the youth ranks at Queens before his departure in 2015 for Premiership side Dundee. Three years at Dundee were followed by a year in Cyprus at FC Pafos but now back in Dumfries he has agreed a two year contract back at his first club.

Manager Allan Johnston was delighted to capture the signature of a player he worked with before in his first spell as manager. He said, "I am delighted to bring Kevin Holt back to Queens and get the chance to work with him again. Sandy and I worked with him before in our first period in charge and he's played at a very good level since. The experience in Cyprus will have helped him too. He's definitely a player who could play at a higher level so I'm delighted he has chosen to come here."

Kevin too was pleased to get his future sorted out early, "I am delighted to get the deal done so quickly. As soon as I knew there was a chance of coming back to Queens I was keen to get it done."

A full interview with the player will follow in the next fortnight.
