We have this morning completed the signing of Lee Kilday on a one year deal. The 27 year old defender started his senior career at Hamilton Academicals where he spent four years before moving to Greenock Morton in 2014. He soon established himself as a regular at Cappielow going on to captain the side. He spent time on loan at Airdrie in the latter half of 2017/18 as he recovered from an ankle injury but returned to the Championship side as a first team regular last season.

Manager Allan Johnston added “Lee is a very good player who knows the Championship. He is an experienced and versatile defender who can operate at both centre-half and right-back which gives us great flexibility. He captained Morton so is a proven leader both on and off the park and I’m sure he will fit in well within the squad that we are starting to build”.
