Match Preview v Dunfermline

Our busy schedule continues tomorrow as we head to Dunfermline for our final meeting of the season with the Pars.

So far this season, our first meeting at Palmerston in August ended in a one all draw after Gary Oliver cancelled out Kyle Turner’s opener.    While Ryan Dow and Kevin Nisbet scored to give the home side a 2 – 0 win on our last visit to East End Park and they again claimed all three points at Palmerston last month when Lee Ashcroft scored a late goal to give them a 3 – 2 win.

We head to Fife on the back of a midweek draw away at Partick Thistle and Manager Allan Johnston said:-

“The performance against Thistle was pleasing and sets us up nicely for Dunfermline.

The boys work rate was incredible, they gave everything, they fought for each other and we defended so much better.  After the amount of goals we have lost in recent weeks, the clean-sheet was the most pleasing thing for me. The players worked hard to give themselves a platform to build on so we now need to keep that going and start adding goals to our game so we can start winning matches and start moving up the table.

The games are coming thick and fast just now so it’s all about recovery but the boys are ready”.

For supporters travelling to East End Park, turnstiles will open at 2pm and ticket prices are advertised at:

Adults - £20

There is an official car park at the north end of the ground which can be accessed via Leys Park Road.  There is a £2 charge for cars and £7 for buses.  Alternatively you can park in the town centre which is a 10 minute walk from the ground.

Dunfermline would like to remind supporters that they should be courteous if parking in residential areas and should note that there is no parking in the private Leys Park estate.
