We are delighted to announce that 21 year old Isaiah Jones has joined the club. The midfielder, who has just signed a contract extension with his parent club, is on loan from Middlesbrough until the end of the season.

Born in London, Isaiah joined Middlesbrough in 2019 as part of their Under 23 side and was named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for December the same year. After impressing Neil Warnock he became a fringe player with the first team squad.

Manager Allan Johnston said “Isaiah has had some experience of Scottish football with a brief loan spell at St Johnstone. He is an attacking midfielder who can score goals so he will fit into our style of play. He is at an age where he will benefit from playing games, so hopefully it will work out well for all concerned. He is highly rated and attracted a lot of attention from several clubs before moving to the North East so I am looking forward to working with him. We would like to thank Middlesbrough for allowing the move to happen”.

Isaiah has been allocated squad number 25.

His inclusion in the squad for our trip to Inverness Caledonian Thistle tomorrow will depend on us receiving International clearance.
