With the unexpected recall this afternoon of Tom Ritchie by Aberdeen the manager has moved quickly to address the position and we are delighted to welcome former Scotland squad keeper Scott Fox back to Palmerston on loan from Motherwell for the rest of the season, subject to a January recall option.

Scott is no stranger to Palmerston having played six games for us under Gordon Chisholm back in 2010 after he left Celtic. Since then his career has taken him to Dundee, Partick Thistle, Ross County, a return to Thistle and then Motherwell. During his first spell with Partick Thistle he was called up to the full Scotland squad.

The now 35 year old will take Tom Ritchie's squad number of 13.
