Queens continued to struggle at the foot of the cinch Championship table after blowing a one goal lead to a resurgent Greenock Morton side.
Euan East fired Queens ahead just before the hour mark before two goals in as many minutes from Gavin Reilly and Cameron Blues pegged the Doonhamers back.
A double subtitution in the dying embers of the game wasn`t enough for Queens to salvage anything in Inverclyde.
Kilmarnock`s win against Dunfermline means Queens remain four points behind the Pars, with a game in hand.
