Avid Queens supporter, David Possee recently sponsored footballs for DG Keepers Monday night club held at Palmerston.  David who lives in Stirling has been a life long fan and follows Queens home and away.  

He is pictured handing over the balls to Speedy Byers along with Izzy Winters of Queens Under 11s and Heather Fishwick who trains with DG Keepers but plays for Threave Rovers U13s.

DG Keepers is a Goalkeeping Academy for the training of young goalkeepers from the ages of 10 to 16 by SFA qualified coaches.  The session is held at Palmerston on Monday evenings under the guidance of Head Coach 'Speedy' Byers.  They have an Introductory group from 115 - 1815 followed by the Intermediate group who train from half past six to eight.  Speedy is assisted by SFA Goalkeeping Coaches, Andy Brown (SFA Level 2) Dan Armstrong, Kieran Marshall and Caitlin McClune.
