Congratulations to our former player Lyndon Dykes who has been named in the Scotland squad for the Nations League matches against Israel and Czech Republic next month.
Despite being born in Australia Lyndon qualifies to play for Scotland through his Parents who are from Dumfries. With the option to play for both countries, he has spent the last few months deciding which one to choose, but has made the decision to pledge his future to the Scottish national team and now hopes to earn his first cap under Steve Clarke.
His call up comes on the back of him clinching a move to the English Championship with Queens Park Rangers.
Also congratulations to goalkeeper, Robby McCrorie, who also gets his first Scotland call-up. Robby recently spent a loan spell at Palmerston from Rangers.
