Everyone at Queen of the South FC was saddened to hear of the sudden and tragic death of Montrose FC Vice Chairman David Laing late yesterday afternoon. We stand with our friends at Montrose at this difficult time and offer our condolences to them and to David's family and friends.

After some discussion today's match at Palmerston will go ahead as planned but there will be a Minute's Silence before kick off in memory of David and both teams will wear black armbands.
