Harry's Back For Another Two Years

We are delighted to confirm that central midfielder Harry Cochrane has extended his contract at Queen of the South for a further two years. Harry joins Kieran McKechnie and Jack Brydon in being contracted through to summer 2025!

Harry has become a mainstay in the team since Marvin Bartley took over, putting in some superb appearances in the latter part of the campaign.

The Manager said, "We all know the quality that Harry processes, hence why he was handed his debut at such a tender age in the top flight. He has been fantastic since I walked into the club and there is still untapped potential in him that we will work together to unlock over the next two seasons. He has great experience for someone who has only recently turned 22 and adds to the professionalism required off the pitch by all. Credit to the club for allowing me to tie down a player of Harry’s quality for the next two seasons alongside both Kieran and Jack.

It’s another positive step forward and I can’t wait to continue working with him in pre-season’

Harry himself added, "I am buzzing to sign with the club again, I have enjoyed my time here so far. There are good people at the club and I am delighted to extend my stay. As soon as the Gaffer wanted to re-sign me it was a no brainer. Since the Gaffer has come in, I have put in a few good performances and I feel I can learn a lot from him, with the experience he possesses at the top level. I’m looking forward to getting back to pre-season and hopefully hit the ground running for the new season."
