We are delighted to welcome our latest signing, Jordan Houston, to the club.

23 year old right back Jordan, joined Ayr United on loan from Rangers in August 2019 having come through the youth ranks at Ibrox. The transfer was later made permanent and Jordan has made over 60 appearances for the Somerset Park club at Championship level, including 25 in the season just finished.

Jordan said tonight, “I’m looking forward to playing for Queen of the South and hope to achieve big things in the season ahead. I’ve played in front of the fans before in my time at Ayr and I know what passion they have. There’s a real excitement around Palmerston now and I was keen to come as soon as I heard the Gaffer was interested.”

Marvin Bartley added. “Jordan’s a player I’ve watched for a while and I moved quickly to speak to him when I heard he was leaving Ayr United. It didn’t take long to sort out a deal and I’m delighted to welcome him on board.”

Jordan has agreed a one year contract and will be registered when the window opens next week.
