After agreeing a fee with Clyde, we are pleased to announce the arrival of 21-year-old striker, Kyle Doherty on a two- year deal.

Previously with Albion Rovers, Kyle started last season at Kelty Hearts before making the switch to the Bully Wee in January for the second half of the campaign.

Kyle said “I’m really pleased to be joining Queens and to be getting a chance at full-time football. Having spoken to the manager, I’m looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead. Queens are a good club with a lot of potential so I’m looking forward to it and can’t wait to get started.”

The manager added “Kyle is someone who I had my eye on and wanted to bring to the club. He has a physical presence and is strong on the ball and links up well and I’m confident he will give us a threat upfront.”
