Arriving at Palmerston on a season long loan from Hibernian is 21-year-old Kyle McClelland.

The centre back joined the Easter Road side from Rangers where he played for the Ibrox club in the UEFA Youth League. He has also been capped for Northern Ireland U21s.

Kyle said “I’m looking forward to joining Queens. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the club and having the chance to play regular first team football is what I need right now. The way the manager wants to play is exciting and I’m looking forward to the season.”

Manager, Marvin Bartley added “Kyle is a highly rated defender with good energy. He already knows some of the players so has a connection and understanding and will hopefully hit the ground running.”
