Joining the squad today on a one-year deal is 21-year-old midfielder Reegan Mimnaugh.
Reegan has spent his whole football journey so far at Hamilton Accies, joining their youth set up before moving to the seniors where he made over 70 appearances for the club. He previously had interest from Fulham and Leeds United.
Reegan said “It will be strange for me moving to another club having been with Accies for so long but after speaking to the manager, I believe Queens are right for me. I liked what the Gaffer had to say and the way he wants to play appeals to me. Queens showed that they were a decent side when they played Accies in the cup semi-final last season and now the manager has added his own players, I hope we can be strong this year.”
The Gaffer added “Firstly I’m delighted to add Reegan to the squad. Although he is only 21, Reegan was one of Hamilton’s experienced players in the Championship last season. He is a midfielder who gives us more options. We will work on adding goals to his game but I’m confident he can bring something to our team. He is young and enthusiastic so gives us energy. There is a lot of potential in Reegan and it’s up to me and my coaching staff to get that out of him on a consistent basis.”
