Everyone at the club would like to say a massive "thank you" to all the fans who turned out today. The support of the team was second to none and massively appreciated by the players and management.

Aberdeen brought a fantastic away support, so it was especially pleasing to see the home crowd outnumber them.

Even before the game, fans were at Palmerston to take on more cleaning work around the ground this morning. The club would like to publicly thank them (and the others who have come on other days to help out) for their efforts. We hope the fans who were at the game noticed the massive improvements around the ground and appreciated their hard work as much as we do. 

This work off the field, and that of all the other volunteers who give up their time, shows just how important the community is to the club and how important it is that we be a truly community club.

Todays result wasnt what we wanted from the first game of the season, but the next home game is just a few days away when Dumbarton visit Palmerston in our next Premier Sports Cup game on Tuesday 16th July, 7:45 kick off.
