On the back of Gaffer Peter Murphy picking up the Glen’s Vodka League One Manager of the Month for January yesterday. We are delighted to announce that it’s a double for the club as striker Adam Brooks has been selected as the League One Player of the Month for the same period.

During January, Brooksy who joined from Inverness scored a double against his old club and followed it up with a further brace against Dumbarton.

The frontman said “It’s obviously great to be recognised and I’m delighted to have won it because it is a sign that things are going well. But at the end of the day football is a team game and although it is my name on the trophy it is for all the squad. I couldn’t have scored the goals that I did without them, so it’s an award for us all. Hopefully it is the first of many”.
