We’re thrilled to announce the signing of experienced striker Kurtis Guthrie, who joins Queen of the South ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 32-year-old forward arrives at Palmerston Park with a strong pedigree, having played across England, Scotland, and internationally. Fans may remember his time in the Scottish Premiership with Livingston, where his physical presence and eye for goal stood out. More recently, he’s been leading the line at Jersey Bulls, and now he's ready to bring that same intensity to the Doonhamers.

Manager Peter Murphy shared his thoughts on the new addition:

“We are delighted to welcome Kurtis to the club. We have been working on this for a while now glad it’s finally sealed. We believe Kurtis gives us a different dynamic in the forward areas with a wealth of experience and his attitude is exceptional. We believe he will bring the team on with the attacking options we have and help us to be successful in the future..”

Guthrie joined up with the squad today as we emabrked on our first day of Pre Season.
