The Under 19s picked up another victory last night when they beat Abbey Vale 3-1 in a friendly at Palmerston.

The visitors took the lead from the penalty spot after 20 minutes but Queens hit back and Kayden Reilly levelled on the half hour mark.  Kylan Hunter scored 10 minutes later to give Queens a two- one lead at the break.

Just before the hour mark, Freddie O’Donoghue added a third to round off the scoring.

Coach Eddie Warwick said “It was a good workout for all the players and let them get minutes in their legs. So it was a well worth while exercise and we move onto Sunday’s league game away to Elgin.”
